Indications
Acute ankle sprain

How to use
A:Loose straps and remove liner from walker.
B:Place foot in liner and secure with contact closure. Make sure the heel fits snugly into the posterior portion of the liner. Fasten the foot flaps on the liner first. Wrap and fasten the leg position of the liner from bottom to top. Some trimming of the liner may be necessary to accomplish optimum fit.
C:Spread the uprights using both hands and step into boot, alighting uprights with midline of the ankle.
D:Secure walker straps at the toes and working up the leg. Foam pads may be used for additional patient comfort at certain pressure points.
Contraindications
Application of this device is recommended only when the fracture is demonstrably stable and there are acceptable limits of angular and rotational deformity. The determination of when to apply the brace rests strictly at the discretion of the treating physician.
